David Eddie, PhD, ABPP
Principal Investigator
Dr. David Eddie is the Associate Director of Clinical Translational Recovery Science a researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Recovery Research Institute, and a faculty member of the Centers for Addiction Medicine and Digital Mental Health. He is also a clinical psychologist in Massachusetts General Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry, an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, and is board certified in addiction psychology.
Katherine ‘Kitty’ Zeng, BS
Research Coordinator
Katherine Zeng is a clinical research coordinator for the Recovery Research Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she received her bachelor’s degree in computer science and neuroscience.
Katherine leads our NIAAA-funded study aimed at better understanding psychophysiological and affective factors underpinning substance use disorder with the goal of developing a novel mobile health intervention for relapse prevention.
Richard Fletcher, PhD
Collaborator
Dr Richard Fletcher leads the Mobile Technology Group within MIT D-Lab, and is a research affiliate at the Recovery Research Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital. His work centers on developing mobile and wearable technologies aimed at improving mental health. He has been instrumental in creating early mobile health (
m
Health) systems, such as wireless sensor bands for psychophysiological monitoring, which contributed to the development of Empatica’s wearable devices.
